Patient Journey

Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) is a rare but serious vascular condition of the central nervous system characterized by abnormal connections between arteries and veins. Depending on its location, AVM can result in significant health complications such as bleeding, epileptic seizures, visual impairments, or speech disorders.

Therefore, addressing AVM with appropriate treatment methods is of critical importance. The most effective treatment approach is the surgical removal of the
AVM.

For our 17-year-old patient from Uzbekistan, we successfully performed a
meticulously planned and executed surgical procedure targeting a brain AVM.
